Music Inspired by Literature ~ Illinois Valley Flute Ensemble

Join the Illinois Valley Flute Ensemble as we perform a concert of Music Inspired by Literature to commemorate the 120th year of the Marseilles Library on Sunday, September 7, 2025, 2pm at the Congregational Church of Marseilles; 255 E Bluff St, Marseilles, IL.

Music performed with all have literature references and program notes will give a brief connection of the music & literature.
Music from Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, Lord of the Rings, Wizard of Oz, Les Miserables, Mary Poppins and more.

Family friendly and you'll get to see and hear our big flutes! Free will offering accepted with gratitude. Proceeds used for Scholarship Fund which assist flute students going to Flute Camp; upkeep of instruments and purchasing new music.
