The Nature Strip + The Smoking Ruins at Mixtape Brewery

It’s a match-up for the ages: the power-pop and folk rock of The Nature Strip in one corner, and the smooth, groovetastic pop of The Smoking Ruins in the other.

The Smoking Ruins have a couple of members away, and the peeps filling in for them will reduce the average age onstage substantially (it’s a family affair – Sly reference intentional). The Nature Strip will continue the campaign of familiarising the world (starting with the inner west, of course) with the tunes from their new album, Domesticated Beast, while including as many of their earlier chart-toppers as they possibly can.

If there’s any argument that disrupts the lovefest between the bands, it will merely be who loves Blondie the most. And oh yes, it is FREE to attend, and the range of beers at Mixtape Brewing is unmatched!
