Philip has entertained audiences all over Australia with compelling songs about everyday quirks & observances over such delicately beautiful things as Doggs, Hoggs, Work for the Dole Programs, Coffee, Laundromats, Maccheroni & of course – love found in a ten-cent store!
Ably abetted by his Hoo Haa compadre’s Penny McBride (The Cannanes, Kaempfert Zone, Miau), with her fancy pants trumpet lending a unique jazz tone, Alistair Lowke (Deadwood76, The Shoot Throughs) on bass who gets all eleven toes tapping & Michael Ward (The Re-mains, Louis Tillett, Night Radio, Ian Rilen) on his lame ass assortment on drums, rattles & buzz saw blades to propel the group along with the rhythm of an old tractor that won’t say no.
