What is Decompression?
Decompression is a global tradition, a reunion for Burners from all burns, camps and participants. It's a chance to share stories, art, and radical self-expression and connect with your local burner community.
Participation is key, this is not a spectator sport. The magic of this event is made by YOU. We invite you to bring your art, your music, your workshops, and your passion.

- Theme Camps: The spirit of the playa and paddock is alive! Connect with local theme camps and discover new communities.
- Delectable food offerings: Feed the hungry with a midnight snack, serve your camp speciality, or bring something to add to a grazing table.
A Call to Participate - The most unforgettable moments at a Decom are those you help create. Do you have a burning idea? A workshop to share? A performance that needs a stage? Grants are available to camps and individuals for your incredible offerings.
