One Step Beyond - A Tribute To British Ska

For the first time, a very special tribute to celebrate 45 years of British Ska music with songs from the great groups ‘The Specials’, ‘Madness’, ‘Bad Manners’, The Selecter and ‘The Beat.

The British ska movement took the world by storm in 1979 and people have been skanking to the beat ever since.

Dig out your checkered clothes, braces, skinny ties, polos, trilby and your best dancing shoes for a very special celebration night. Django @ Camelot

British Ska and 2 tone, also known as ska-rock is a genre of British popular music of the late 1970’s and early 1980’s that fused traditional Jamaican ska, rock steady and reggae music with elements of punk rock and new wave music.
