Led by 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨, the “New-Dynamic Orchestra” are an exciting new jazz orchestra featuring some of the finest musicians in Sydney. This band seeks to celebrate tradition, innovative composition, unheard voices, and premiere new compositions. They will play works by Duke Ellington, Charles Mingus, Oliver Nelson, Claudia Döffinger, Chiara Minotto & more!

They will be supported by 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞. Indigo Collective is a jazz trio made of vocalist 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐏𝐨𝐧𝐚, guitarist 𝐑𝐮𝐛𝐲 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞, and a double bassist 𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐚. Sydney-born but with different multicultural backgrounds (French, Spanish, Filipino), Pona, Tapia and Firmstone met during their jazz performance studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. They began collaborating through their passion for jazz and a shared drive to succeed in a male-dominated jazz scene. Indigo Collective have been performing regularly since 2024, and most recently played at SIMA International Women's Jazz Festival 2025, Kiama Jazz and Blues Festival 2025, and as part of The Women’s Club’s Women in Music Series.
