The Mesos Trio are a Sydney based World-Jazz ensemble featuring Susie Bishop, Maharshi Raval and Elsen Price.
Their debut self-titled EP was released in 2025 to critical acclaim, recording with Chris Doherty (Cold Play, Snoop Dogg) at Point Blank Sound in Sydney. The EP has been featured in Music Crowns, Stimulated Media, Amnplify, Fine Music FM, 2RRR and Sydney Arts Guide.
Live video of the session was also released, with the tune 'Ashokan Farewell' receiving 58,000 views within the first week.
The Mesos Trio play music that is inspired by Jazz, Indian Classical music and broader Folk music, drawing on the musical backgrounds of the musicians, into a creative thread of virtuosity, playfulness and importantly, fun!
The Third Voice features three strong female voices, mainly unaccompanied. Clarita Derwent, Gemma Turner and Christina Mimmocchi are each experienced soloists in their own right who crossed paths early in their careers in the well-known vocal group Blindman's Holiday. They share a love of a finely-written song, voices in harmony and music for the body as well as the mind.
