Larry and Malawurr with special guests Afro Moses and DRMNGNOW

𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐆𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐮𝐰𝐢𝐰𝐢 is a force of nature. A multi-instrumentalist with an incredible voice Larry is also acknowledged as the greatest traditional Yidaki virtuoso aka Didjeridoo player in the world. It’s a role he inherited from his late father the legendary Galpu Clan leader, Mr D Gurruwiwi. Larry continues his father’s legacy working with his brothers and extended family under the name of “Malawurr,” which is the Galpu name for “Family”.

In a very special extension of his musical family, Larry Gurruwiwi is coming to Sydney with legendary Ghanain musician Afro Moses and Yorta Yorta MC 𝐃𝐑𝐌𝐍𝐆𝐍𝐎𝐖 to play at Lazybones, joined by both his Yolngu family from North East Arnhem Land and local legends 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐲 - drums, 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧 - Bass & 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 - Guitar
