Join us on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM EDT at Toogood Pond Park, located across from 218 Main Street (The Church of the Nazarene), Unionville, ON L3R 2H2.
The fourth annual event is hosted by Heather Davidson in memory of her late husband, Robert Davidson—the founder of the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. This free, family-friendly walk raises awareness and funds for Canadians living with pulmonary fibrosis while celebrating Robert’s legacy of courage and hope.
Here’s the plan:
Check-in and children’s activities begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a welcome message and group stretch at 10:45 AM. The walk will begin around 11:00 AM, taking a beautiful loop through Toogood Pond. Afterward, participants are invited to a complimentary lunch at Unionville Arms Pub & Grill around 12:00 PM. Same‑day registrants who make a $20 donation will receive a boxed lunch.
Robert’s personal mantra, “Never Surrender,” inspires this gathering—an invitation to unite in support, remember loved ones, and celebrate life in the face of pulmonary fibrosis.
This is a fully accessible, community-focused event designed for patients, caregivers, friends, and healthcare professionals. Walk at your own pace, gather pledges, or just come to show your support.
