Lunch & Learn: MathWorks

In this session, you’ll learn how MATLAB & Simulink are utilized in the development of algorithms including implementation and testing on hardware. Our demonstration will emphasize how to design, simulate and test a complex system that could incorporate multiple domains such as mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic – that are typically isolated across different software platforms and thus not simulated in a common framework. Additionally, we'll cover leveraging MATLAB Copilot for development of complex systems.

During our presentation, we’ll demonstrate how to:

• Using MATLAB copilot for authoring and testing MATLAB code
• Model and simulate complex algorithms and analyze their performance
• Generate code for testing and rapid prototyping on target hardware
• Develop and deploy MATLAB® algorithms and Simulink® models as digital twin

Facilitator Bio:

Karanjodh Singh Meen has a MS in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and BE form Punjab Engineering College, India. He specializes in the areas of Embedded Software development, control systems, system dynamics and robotics. In 2018, he joined Technical Support at MathWorks and later moved to the Application Engineering Group in 2019. He works with customers in automotive, medical device, industrial automation and aerospace industries specifically advancing workflows that involve Model Based Design, Software Architecture for distributed Embedded systems, modeling physical systems, designing controls and automatic code generation.
