How did we get the Qur’an?

We warmly invite you to join us for our first Discussion Evening of 2026.

This month’s topic is "How Did We Get the Qur’an?", continuing the conversation we began in November on "How Did We Get the Four Gospels?" As before, we will explore questions of origin, transmission, and preservation.

We will hear a presentation from the Muslim perspective on when and how the Islamic scriptures came into existence and how they have been preserved over the centuries, followed by our usual open discussion.

We hope you can join us as we continue learning about the scriptures of our respective faiths and engaging in thoughtful, respectful conversation.
