About the event

The Lanthornes
The Lanthornes are a five-piece acoustic band based in Market Harborough, writing original heartfelt music. Led by Chrisopher’s authentic and emotive vocals, he offers searching storytelling lyrics backed by his acoustic guitar, sometimes driving sometimes stripped back and delicate. Rebeka and Enza bring beautiful, intricate and rich harmonies, adding soulful layers to each song. Jack’s melody bass grounds each song with creative and expressive lines, locked into Tristan’s percussion, playing driving and dynamic beats, blending creative rhythms with subtle touches to provide the heartbeat for each song.

Drawing on influences from artists like Ben Howard, Damian Rice and David Gray, The Lanthornes’ sound blends acoustic folk and indie song writing, with layered harmonies, soulful lyrics and a raw, human touch. In a world where AI claims to write music, The Lanthornes bring the genuine thing with gritty authenticity.
