Thanks to all who have filled out the survey and otherwise communicated their availability to attend our 20 year reunion...still crazy to even type that!! Here are the key notes:

We acknowledge the original venue possed some unforeseen challenges and have worked to find somewhere new and perhaps more exciting..we no will be meeting at Refinery 13 in Marion.
Event will go from 2pm-5pm.
No kids unless bringing them enables you to come
What to expect:
-moment of remembrance to remember classmates that have passed away
-ice breaker bingo
-make shift photo booth
-"year book signing" time,
-speeches from Student Body President: Jordan Laney, Class President Mary Katherine Ogle and Principal Ben Talbert
-Prizes for: Furthest travelled from Marion, Furthest Travelled to attend the event, etc.
We tried to keep costs as minimal as possible:
$10 at the door to help cover costs. Bring cash or pay ahead of time.

A few of us are donating the venue cost. 2-5 pm is a weird time but attendees are encouraged to purchase apps/drinks as the venue is closing just for us.

We get it, life is crazy politically right now and a lot has happened recently and over the past 20 years. The event will focus on the things that unite us all: the shared experience of growing up in McDowell County and graduating high school. No minds are getting changed on politics and religion at the event so the hope is that we all can commit to keep those few hours free of it.
Environment will be relaxed: wear what you want to.
