FROM TRAGEDY TO TRIUMPH

It is hard to believe that the 40th Anniversary of the Challenger tragedy will occur on January 28th. Yet, the United States has never given up on exploring space. Even as we remember and mourn the loss of life on the Challenger Mission; we can celebrate as NASA prepares for the exciting Artemis Mission this winter.

To mark these momentous events, the Marion Historical Society and Historian David Wendell will present a Program, "Tragedy and Triumph" on Saturday January 24th. The History Center located at 590 6th Ave. in Marion will be open from 11-1 that day and will feature many of Mr. Wendell's space-related memorabilia. He will give a presentation at 11:30.
