Cedar Rapids/Marion CROP Hunger Walk

Please join us for our 53rd annual CROP Walk to fight hunger and raise awareness about the devastating effects it has in our community and around the World. One in six children and one in 8 adults are food insecure in Iowa. This is why we walk…to create a world where there is enough for all.

25% of funds raised are given back to 3 local food agencies: Churches of Marion Food Pantry, Green Square Meals & Linn Community Food Bank. The remaining funds go to Church World Service to combat poverty around the world.

1:00 pm – Registration/Return Team Packets at the English Pavilion
1:15 pm – Start taking group pictures
1:25 pm – Announcements and prayer
1:30 pm - Walk begins on the trail at Thomas Park.
At the midpoint by Boyson Park entrance there will be water and snacks. For those who are unable to do a full loop you may do a shorter walk. Children are welcome and should be accompanied by an adult.
