Cat Cuddles & Fundraiser at HEA Book Boutique

We're partnering with the Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control to host a fundraiser and kitty petting party (shame on you, get your mind out of the gutter!)

HEA Book Boutique will have cats to cuddle on site September 21, and will also be hosting a couple of different initiatives to raise funds for the animals in need!

- We'll have 50 Treat Yo' Shelf books (our version of blind date with a book) but these will be stuffed with goodies, and all will feature pets! Each book will be $23 and $5 of each sale will be donated back to CRACC.
- CRACC volunteers have been making pet toys that will be available for purchase during the event, with proceeds going back to CRACC.
- The week of the event we'll have silent auction items in our store for you to take a look at & bid on. Bidding will close at the end of our event on Sunday.

Donations will be accepted...and of course, the animals present will be available for adoption! (Maybe we'll get lucky and find a store cat or pup!?) Please note: adoptions must take place at the main CRACC campus during normal business hours.
