The Marion Palace Theatre invites young performers to audition for the 2026 Junior Palace Production of Bringing Down the House — a fast-paced comedy where nothing goes as planned and the laughs never stop!

Tuesday, January 6 & Wednesday, January 7, 2026

About the Show:
This hilarious farce follows a group of hopeful creators trying to launch a new musical in a rundown theatre—before it's demolished! It’s full of over-the-top characters, surprise interruptions, and theatrical chaos (on purpose!). No singing required—just big personalities and great comedic timing!
What to Bring:
– A memorized poem or monologue (30–60 seconds)
– Comfortable clothes for movement
– A list of schedule conflicts
No singing or dancing experience necessary.
Who Can Audition:
Youth ages 8 and up — whether you're new to the stage or a seasoned scene-stealer, there’s a role for you!
Rehearsals:
Held 3 nights per week from 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM, with flexibility for busy school and activity schedules.
