St. Francis Day Leper Colony Campout

This year, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi falls on a Saturday (October 4th). So, we will celebrate the day by camping out the night before on the Parsonage field. But it won't be just any campout... We will recreate the leper colony where he ministered and spend the evening telling stories of this great saint around the campfire. All are invited to dress like lepers (including the boils, spots, bandages, etc.). The next morning, we will host a "Blessing of the Animals" for any and all at 10am.

This event is for all ages, but most of the activities will be geared towards children. Dinner and breakfast will be provided. We ask all who participate to bring their own tent and sleeping bags. Any child 12 and under must attend with their parent or a parent-approved chaperone.
