Intro to Theatre Youth Workshop

Have you always wanted to explore the theater and be in the spotlight?
This one-day-only, FREE workshop on Saturday, September 13 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the theater auditorium is geared toward youth ages 8 to 18 who are new to the theater or those who want to work more on their theater skills. Registration will open at 8:30 that morning.
Participants will learn basic stage direction and improv. Kids will try their newly-learned skills through acting out some brief scenes.
The final part of this is the most exciting -- everyone will have the opportunity to audition at a later time for a real show!! Youth Player auditions for The Outsiders will take place September 14, 15, and 16 for kids in 6th - 12th grades.
Please join us. Absolutely no experience necessary. Just be prepared to have fun!! Parents are welcome to stick around or drop off.
