First Friday with Sugar Pop Press and Art.Monsters.Printmaking!

We are excited to host Leslie Norris of Sugar Pop Press and Mateo Fuentes of Art.Monsters.Printmaking for First Friday on October 3rd! Leslie and Mateo will be set up at the shop from 5:00 to 9:00 pm with their bold and unique prints, which are perfect for spooky season!

Leslie Norris is a silkscreen printmaker working under the moniker Sugar Pop Press. Leslie hand-prints her work from her home studio in Southern West Virginia, which she shares with her partner and fellow printmaker, Mateo Fuentes. Mateo creates unique screenprints from a collection of comic books, exploring themes of personal reflection, anxiety, and religion all packaged in a halftoned world of horror, adventure, and the supernatural. Together, they live with three alley cats gone square, Murphy, Fioh, and Frank.

Stop in the shop to meet these two talented WV printmakers and pick up some new art!
