Deeksha School of Performing Arts Presents “Shaktya” by Rama Vaidyanathan

This production features a mother with her two daughters, where they portray women characters from mythology, history and contemporary times. Women who have inspired, have shown exemplary courage and have taken the difficult path to stand by their convictions. The Goddess in the Indian ethos who is considered as the quintessential woman symbolizing empowerment, has set the stage for the entire female principle to be inspired where every woman looks for the Goddess within her. This work tells the stories of many such women who have manifested the presence of Goddess within them by speaking the unspoken and treading the uncharted path.
