Our CNC Mill Operator Training is a focused, hands-on half-day session designed to introduce participants to the essentials of CNC milling. Limited to 5 participants, this course provides practical, guided experience on the machine while covering the foundational skills every operator needs.
Participants will begin with a safety overview, a machine walk-around, and a step-by-step look at the mill’s power-up cycle. The training then moves into work holding setup, indicating a vise, and establishing work and tool offsets using both manual methods and the machine’s probing system.
From there, participants will learn the basics of G-code, program loading, and stepping through a program using graphics. Each attendee will set their own offsets and run their first part under instructor supervision.
The training concludes with a review of machine maintenance, cleanup, and an open Q&A session.
This course is ideal for new operators, educators, and anyone wanting hands-on CNC experience in a compressed, high-value format. All materials and training resources are provided.
Five person maximum per class.
