Beginner Friendly D&D One Shot

Join us for a 4-hour beginner-friendly Dungeons & Dragons one-shot at Giga-Bites Cafe in Marietta!

Whether you’re brand new to tabletop role-playing games or a seasoned adventurer, this session is designed to be accessible, affirming, and fun.

Pre-made characters will be provided, so no prior experience or preparation is required. If you prefer to bring your own character, registered attendees may request details about character level and guidelines in advance.

This event will be attended by a licensed therapist, who will be available to talk with participants about how D&D and other tabletop games can work as a therapeutic device. We’ll explore how collaborative storytelling, problem-solving, and role-play can support personal goals such as communication, emotional regulation, confidence-building, and connection.

This gathering is designed with neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+ folks in mind, offering a safer, affirming space to connect, play, and be yourself. Community care, consent, and mutual respect are core to the experience.
