Sam Moss is a musician based in Staunton, Virginia.
His stop at the Tom Thumb on his October UK tour marks his first-ever stop in the region.
Moss' newest album, Swimming (2025), has been acclaimed by publications like Uncut, Americana UK, and Spin, who wrote " Swimming foregrounds his graceful guitar playing, his quietly intense vocals, and most of all his observant songwriting, all of which reveal new wisdom with each spin.”
He has played hundreds of shows around the country and shared bills with Jake Xerxes Fussell, Watchhouse, Joan Shelley, Diane Cluck, and others. He is also a woodworker.
