Home Education Day: Paper Worlds

Our first Home Education Day of 2026 invites young makers to step back in time and create their own Victorian paper tunnel storybooks, inspired by the stories found in our museum collection.

This hands-on workshop offers a relaxed, creative way to explore history, storytelling, and making.

Suitable for home-educating families looking for an engaging and creative learning experience. The museum will be closed to the public and open only for the Home Education group.

All sessions run from 10am-2pm, 10am-11am is a quiet hour.

Ticket includes access to the museum and gardens. There is an extra charge to take part in the craft.
