Let the kids immerse themselves in an ocean themed art session these school holidays. A range of art stations will be set up for kids to try their hand at including:
Hand sew felt sea creatures
Make shimmering clay seashells and urchins
Create a mermaid from yarn and beads
Learn how to make bright fish and sharks from cardboard rolls
Make jellyfish from up cycled materials
Paint watercolour sea creatures and ocean scenes.
An experienced facilitator will be on hand to guide kids through the activities.
Suitable for ages seven and up. The felt sewing station will be available to children aged eight and up as needles are involved, however there will be plenty of options for all ages to choose from and enjoy. The sessions are offered as drop and leave, although parents and carers are welcome to stay.
School holiday sessions at Gathered Organics are held on a working organic farm located on Walcliffe Road in Margaret River, around 4km from town. As well as the community space where workshops are held, there is a farm shop and cafe, and we share the farm with a vineyard, market garden, livestock and winery.
