Diana Ross & Motown - Tribute Show at the USC

**Diana Ross & Motown Show** Ladies & Gentleman we are delighted that Whittlesey Music Nights have arranged a tribute evening to the iconic legend and "Queen of Motown Records" Diana Ross. She started her career with the vocal group the Supremes, who became Motown's most successful act during the 1960s and one of the world's best-selling girl groups of all time. They remain the best-charting female group in history, with a total of 16 smash hits - 12 of which were number-one singles. After 11 glorious years leading the band, Diana left to pursue her Solo career, taking the world on a definitive divas journey through the ages.

The date for this one is Saturday the 30th of August, the venue is the March United Services Club and the artist is Sharlene Rainey (Miss SharLeReign). Sharlene describes Soul & Motown as a musical genre that she was raised with, and one that has stayed with her throughout the years… it has the power that shifts moods, change lives and tell normal life stories through a stunning blend of sensational sounds and vocals. It’s significant and unexpected rise in the sixties still remains in the hearts of all today and to be enjoyed forever. My mother loved her and played her music always. This is where my love and passion for Diana Ross originates from and I want to ensure that her music, style and presence lives on.

Doors open at 7.30pm, with the act on stage at approx. 9pm. Tickets for this one will be £8 for members and £10 for non-members and are available in the club now.
