The Debrief Event was a great segue to Mass Bay Sailing’s next Dryland Event & Social Event - creating the Big Boat Fleet Guide For Regattas. Based off of the successful Marblehead Racing Association (MRA PRO Guide for one design fleets) to improve uniformity of race management across Mass Bay and increase racer satisfaction. It will be a summary/guide for Fleet (Rule 26 starts), Pursuit and Double Handed regattas.  

This is the final focus area of Mass Bay Sailing that we need to address:

Regatta Management - target: communications, courses, number of races/day, length of pursuits, STARTING LINES, and more. 

We are excited to get YOUR feedback, experiences from other regattas, and ideas to increase 2026 regatta participation in an open forum.
