****** It’s getting exciting peeps!! We are getting a lot of questions and calls for the 3D/Golf tournament being held at Maple Hill Golf Club on Saturday September 20th and Sunday September 22st I thought I would answer the most asked questions for clarity.
We will shoot 3D and golf on the same day. We increased it to a two day event so more people can participate.
You can play both days if tou would like, you would just pay $50 each for both days.
100% of the $50 fee goes directly to the golf course for hosting the event, cooking and serving all of the food and for shutting the course down for our event. Thank you to Maple Hill for doing this for us
The format is Captain & Mate. Both participants will shoot at each target and they will take the better score of the two arrows.
Only one participant is required to shoot the 3D course but they will only shoot one arrow per target. We are allowing this as some grandparents have asked if they can participate with the grandchildren but aren’t able to physically shoot a bow. Anything we can do for family bonding, we are for and thus allowing it. We are allowing Crossbows this year and crossbow shooters will shoot a seperate stake. We will not be allowing shooting sticks
Maple Hill Golf Club has generously donated $250 cash prize to the winner of the tournament and we thank them for allowing us to hold the event there and the donation.
All other prizes are to be drawn at random and given away. Each participant will fill out an entry form on the day of the tournament and placed into a draw box where we will pull the drawings from.
We have plenty of prizes and truly appreciate each and every one that has donated.
The meal is included in the price of $50 per participant and carts are included in that price as well.
The meal will be:
Elk sausage
Burgers
Salt potatoes
Macaroni Salad
Baked Beans
Cookies
You can enter by calling Papa Bears at 607.849.6605 and I will
personally sign you up. We only can take the first 50 teams per day to sign up. We will take an extra five teams each day in case we have a cancellation. We are collecting the entry fee at the store when signing up. You can call and sign up over the phone and stop in a few days later to pay. Cash payments are best so we can give it directly to the golf course.
Currently we are about half full on both days with more teams signing up daily.

***Please not the the tent is open tonthe public and our goalmis to get at least 400 people through the tent and show appreciation to the reps and manufacturers for coming to our community during the busiest time of the year to support our event and personally thank the for their donations and support. To win any of the prizes you will need to be in the tournament to be eligible. We will be running seperate raffles that Hunter and I have selected that are not donated and that we have purchased. These raffles will be open to the public.
