About the event

Winter Foraging Class
Nuts, needles, and nibbling! Come learn safe foraging techniques, common winter plants to harvest, how to ID them, and suggested recipes to try.

We will meet at the Hurstville Interpretive Center and talk about plants to forage in the winter and how to harvest them and taste a few recipes made from foraged materials. We will then have an optional hike out at Prairie Creek Recreation Area for anyone who wants extra practice finding and identifying the plants.

Please dress for the weather as the event will be outside. Cost is $5. Registration is required by January 21st. Register at https://3common.com/winterforaging
