Whiskey Dram Sunday: Summer Whiskeys!

Looking for a fun way to make the most of your Labor Day weekend? Take advantage of that extra day off to join us and enjoy whiskeys that pair perfectly with the last of summer! For August, we'll be exploring whiskeys that are light in body, but FAR from lacking in flavor and complexity. It's just what whiskey drinkers need to transition from summer and into fall!Is summertime to hot for whiskey? We don't think so and we'd love to share with you a few of our favorites! We'll explore how multiple distillations can help to "lighten" a whiskey, how even countries famous for bold, hearty whiskey make softer ones, too. There's so much to discuss, and EVEN MORE to taste!

Though subject to change, August's whiskey flight is likely to include:

-The Lone Hawthorn "Craft Beer Batch": An Irish single malt whiskey finished in a Irish craft ale cask

-Mac Spey Malt Blend: A blend of three single malt scotch whiskies from the Sepyside region

-Mimori: A blend of three single malt Japanese whiskies, each aged in a different type of caskSign up now to taste these three whiskies and then decide which of the three - or of nearly anything from our line of exclusive whiskies - to enjoy as a full dram (1 1/2 oz pour).
