Birds for Beginners: Guided Walk

With the RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch taking place this weekend, why not take the opportunity to learn more about the wonderful world of woodland birds?

Led by an expert guide, this walk will introduce you to the birds of Sherwood Forest: how to find and identify common species, understand their behaviours, the importance of preserving their habitats, and the basics of birdwatching.

Please bring suitable clothing and footwear.

This event is appropriate for all ages, although it may be challenging for families with pushchairs.

Unfortunately, we can’t allow dogs on this walk.

If you have binoculars please bring them with you.

Binoculars are available to hire from the Visitor Centre.
