Parents & guardians, are you ready to bring more calm, connection, and cooperation into your home?
Hold Your Horses: A Parent Workshop on Calm Leadership & Boundaries is a small-group, hands-on experience with our herd that helps you lead with steadiness, set loving limits, and build stronger relationships with your children.
Through a mix of discussion, experiential activities, and time spent with our horses (including Earl, the inspiration for this workshop), you’ll explore how your own nervous system impacts your child’s behavior, how to use co-regulation to de-escalate outbursts, and how to set clear, loving boundaries without force or reactivity.
Session objectives include:
- Understanding the Nervous System: What’s happening during moments of overwhelm and how to stay in your “window of tolerance.”
- Attachment & Leadership: How calm leadership creates the safety kids need to cooperate.
- Boundaries vs. Control: The difference between holding firm limits and trying to overpower your child.
- Repair & Connection: Rebuilding trust and connection after conflict.
You’ll leave with practical strategies to manage your own energy, reduce power struggles, and create more peace at home.
Cost is $80 per person, with a sliding scale available for parents of current Ranch clients.
🗓 Each workshop is a stand-alone session available on the following Saturdays from 10–11:30am:
