Forks of the Buffalo BBQ Throwdown

Here is the low down on this year's competition. It is open to anyone. It will be a 4 meat turn in style using kcbs rules. You must turn in 6 portions of chicken, ribs, pork, and brisket. Turn in is every 30 minutes starting at 10:30 chicken, 11:00 ribs, 11:30 pork, 12:00 brisket. You must supply your own meat. It is a $100 entry fee with a winner take all and crowned Forks of the Buffalo champion. You get a 10x20 spot and set up is the night before October 3rd starting a 6pm. We will have a cooks meeting at 7:30 pm that evening. Turn in is the following day. If you want to sell bbq or give samples you must have a permit from the Marion County Health Department that you are responsible for obtaining and we will need a copy provided to us.
