Swamp Fox & Sacred Grounds - Clarendon County's History

Celebrate South Carolina’s 250th anniversary with a deep dive into Clarendon County’s rich and layered history. This unique heritage event highlights legendary Revolutionary War hero Francis Marion and explores the sacred history of the Santee Indian Mound and Fort Watson site, all in one curated day.

Important to note: Lunch provided. There is not a bathroom at the Fort Watson/Santee Indian Mound site. Please bring a blanket to sit on for the picnic lunch, and wear/pack bug repellent.
