🌟 Come & Join Us for an Unforgettable Evening! 🌟
Come be part of an inspiring night celebrating the incredible journey of Patty Prewitt — a writer, teacher, performer, and advocate whose story embodies courage, compassion, and hope, grit, perseverance, and the unbreakable power of the human spirit.
For nearly 40 years behind bars, Patty wrote letters that moved hearts and opened minds. Through her work with Prison Performing Arts (PPA) and her extraordinary collection of letters (now published by Some People Press), she became a mentor and a light for so many.
Convicted in 1984 after a deeply flawed investigation, Patty never stopped fighting for justice — or for others. In 2024, her unwavering resilience was recognized when Governor Mike Parson commuted her sentence.
Now free, Patty’s voice continues to inspire. Her letters — at once funny, raw, and profoundly human — remind us of the power of art, truth, and the unbreakable human spirit.
✨ Don’t miss this chance to hear Patty share her story "live through zoom" and reflect on a life transformed through hope, creativity, and community.
✨ If you want to learn more about grit, perseverance, and resilience and hope in the face of unimaginable odds, this is an evening you won’t want to miss!
💬 “Her words remind us that even in the darkest places, humanity endures.”
