Discover how Christians have prayed, believed, and worshiped through music. Prayer in Song offers an opportunity to grow in appreciation for sacred music as we explore the story of Christian hymnody, tracing it from its earliest roots to the present day.
Together we will blend clear and engaging historical insight with practical interpretation, helping you understand not only where our hymns come from but how to read, pray, and experience them more deeply. No musical background needed - just curiousity and a love for the Church's song.
Join Marcus Larsen as we rediscover how Christians have prayed in song for 2,000 years. Sessions will take place on Thursdays from 5:00-6:30 at the St. Joseph House at the St. Francis of Assisi Waldo Site. Sessions begin on January 15th and conclude on February 26th. Come to any or all sessions. No sign up required.
