With all the heaviness in the world right now, we invite you to join us for some fun and relaxation. Come join us as we laugh, talk, and enjoy each other's company as we take action on important issues by:
Creating postcards from recycled materials or using our pre-made cards to send to elected officials, potential voters, and corporations. We'll have supplies, suggested messages, and addresses ready for you!
Learning the most effective ways to write letters and emails to our representatives and editors
Using the 5 Calls app to voice your opinions to elected officials in the most efficient manner, making sure your thoughts are tallied
Learning relaxation techniques to handle the stress and anxiety we are all feeling right now
Help our local Manitou Springs Food Pantry by bringing non-perishable items and learning all about this important organization
Drop by any time between 4-6 at the community room, Manitou Springs Library, on Tuesday, September 30th. All are welcome!!
*donations to help offset the cost of postage are greatly appreciated - postcards are 61 cents each!
