2025 SCTF Business Continuity Planning Workshop

This workshop is designed to improve the knowledge in the business continuity planning areas. It is intended for business continuity planning and IT professionals from the public and private sectors as well as non-government organizations. This workshop, including lunch, is free of charge courtesy of the South Central PA Task Force and grants from US DHS!

Workshop Objectives:

The workshop will provide the participants an opportunity to:

§ Work through and receive an editable template of an IT Disaster Recovery Plan.

§ Learn about how electric utilities have arranged mutual aid programs to help each other out in power outage disasters and how this applies to all sectors.

§ Receive an overview of what you can do to allow offsite emergency responders to better respond to incidents at your facility.

§ Discuss the development of a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and receive a template of an editable plan to customize for your organization.

§ Obtain Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits for attendance.

§ Network with other regional BCP and IT professionals.
