The Graduate School, in partnership with the Staley School of Leadership, offers free leadership development opportunities for K-State master’s and doctoral students across all disciplines, helping them elevate their leadership practice while connecting with peers.
These workshops are offered in hybrid format to allow for in-person and virtual participation. Participants should plan to be actively engaged in every session.
These experiences strengthen non-technical skills that support academic success and career readiness, including:
- Building cross-disciplinary community
- Enhancing professional and interpersonal skills
- Preparing for future leadership roles

This workshop is about...
To lead change requires us to see new possibilities. Learn the fundamentals of leadership coaching as a strategy for cultivating continual learning and mobilizing others to take courageous action. Participants will practice core coaching skills like deep listening, powerful questions, and reflective feedback to support their own and others’ learning and development. This session is especially valuable for those who are currently involved in mentorship or coaching practice or who are interested in coordinating teams in academic and professional settings.
