The FDNY and the FDNY Foundation proudly invite all Fire Service Professionals to the “FDNY 2025 High-Rise Symposium” (HRS).
This three-day event will be held in New York City — the “High-Rise Capital of the World” — on October 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2025.
The Symposium is open to firefighters, company and chief officers, private sector fire and life safety professionals, property management , code consultants, fire and life safety prevention personnel, and building engineering and maintenance personnel.
The FDNY High-Rise Symposium will feature subject matter professionals and case studies on topics including:
• Fire & life safety
• Building systems
• Fire command operations
• First-due protocols
• UAS and robotics
• Mega high-rise buildings
• Buildings under construction
• Fire codes
• Terrorism response
• Healthcare facilities
• Building energy storage systems
Event Schedule:
Day 1: Opening ceremony and lectures
Day 2: Visits and tours of a legacy and a modern high-rise buildings
Day 3: Tactical and operational demonstrations at the FDNY Fire Academy on Randall’s Island
