🌊 Guest Speakers: The club’s very own Larry Cohen and Olga Torrey! Mexico offers an incredible range of underwater adventures, from cave diving in the Riviera Maya to reefs in Cozumel, sea lions in the Sea of Cortez, and giant mantas off Socorro. Larry and Olga will share highlights from their recent travels, with stunning photos and video from both the east and west coasts.
Larry Cohen has been diving since 1989 and brings his background in commercial and editorial photography underwater. His images have appeared in Sport Diver, Scuba Diving, Alert Diver, Diver, and many other publications. He is a past president of the NYC Sea Gypsies, co-founder of NYUPS, and has crewed on the New Jersey dive boat John Jack.
Olga Torrey is a fine artist and photographer whose underwater work spans locations from Bonaire to Alaska. A life member of the Art Students League of New York, she applies her artistic vision to photography above and below the surface. Her images have been published in X-Ray Magazine, Dive, Northeast Dive News, and more. She has also crewed the New Jersey dive boat John Jack.
