Save the date for ALHC's 28th year. Yep it's been 27 years since we hit the dance floor in Great Gorge, NJ. This year we;ve added a teacher training intensive the day before the event starts, and a new beginner track. Join us for a great weekend of dancing to live and Djed music, dance contests and of course dance classes.
Don't me our Showcase Harvest Moon Ball Division. We've sent out invitations to clubs and swing societies across North America asking them to send their best to compete and bring home the gold. Will you be our next champion?
The 4th Battle of the Bands will be October 18 with Josh Lee and the Extended Family plays opposite Danny Lipsitz and Brass Tacks. At this same time we’ll crown a national champion. ALHC has been striving for excellence for decades. Will you get a chance to see a national champion crowned in Good Shepherd Faith Presbyterian’s sanctuary?

Friday, classes followed by a dance
Saturday, classes followed by a Competitors’ meeting followed by a dance which includes The Match Game and Strictly Lindy preliminaries. Dinner break followed by Battle of the Bands between Josh/ American Showcase Division with awards at 11:30pm.
A weekend pass includes:
Friday and Saturday classes 6:30-9:30pm and 10am-2pm respectively
Friday has a 3-class beginner Lindy workshop which includes Lindy basics, Swing Walk and vernacular jazz.
3 parties culminating in the Oct 18 Battle of the Bands between Josh Lee & the Extended Family and Danny Lipsitz & Brass Tacks. Parties range in price from $10-$35 in advance.
3 parties - Friday evening 9:30-11:30pm, Saturday afternoon 2:30-5pm
Saturday evening Beginner Swjng class at 7:30pm, Battle of the Bands 8:30-11:30pm

Tech & Teacher Training Workshop starts on Thursday night and runs throughout the weekend at an additional cost
