Seniors Week: Creative writing come and try session

Reading, writing and no arithmetic! If you enjoy words and a little creativity, come along to our friendly Senior Scribblers group for a relaxed introduction. This special come and try session is perfect for anyone curious about writing, whether you’ve been jotting down ideas for years or are just starting out.

We explore all kinds of writing—short stories, poetry, memoirs and more—sharing ideas in a supportive and welcoming space. There’s no pressure, no homework, and certainly no tests—just the chance to express yourself, listen to others, and be inspired.

The Senior Scribblers meet every week, giving you a regular opportunity to connect with fellow writers, share your creativity, and enjoy conversation and laughter. You never quite know what will come from putting pen to paper, but you’ll always leave with something new—whether it’s an idea, a memory sparked, or simply a smile.
