SPIRIT OF THE LANDSCAPE EXHIBITION OPENING EVENT

Join us for the opening of the Spirit of the Landscape Exhibition on SATURDAY 6 SEPTEMBER from 2:30pm to 4:00pm. This event marks the commencement of Plein Air Down Under's series of events. We are excited to present artworks by 16 award-winning artists:

Andy Dolphin, Bob Saxon, Deborah Zibah, Gordon Alexander, James Walker, Jo Wesley, John Bullock, Leanne Pearson, Linda MacAulay, Merv Lindsay, Samuel Swadling, Val Brooks, Vicki Lee, Feature Artist Michele Usibelli (USA), Feature Artist Aaron Schuerr (USA) and Feature Artist Leon Holmes (Aus).

Celebrate the captivating landscapes of rural, regional, and remote regions as expressed through the eyes of our talented plein air artists. These artworks capture the spirit and essence of our natural environments with their vibrant use of natural light, colour, and movement.

EXHIBITION OPENING, everyone welcome
Saturday 6 September at 2.30pm
Alcoa Mandurah Art Gallery, inside Mandurah Performing Arts Centre

Admission is free, and we invite you to cast your vote for the People's Choice Award.

The exhibition opening follows the Worldwide Paint Out in Mandjar Square, 10am to 2pm.

The exhibition is part of the Mandurah Arts Festival 2025, and is a must-see celebration of art and nature. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing the beauty and inspiration of the Spirit of the Landscape.

Following the opening event, the OPENING TIMES FOR THE EXHIBITION DURING THE PERIOD 6 Sep to 12 Oct 2025 are as follows:

Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm (8 Sep through to 10 Oct - excluding public holiday on Mon 29 Sep - see below for more details).

Sun 14 Sep - 12pm to 4pm
