About the event

Campfire Stories: Tales of Nature and Tradition
Join the Interpretive Ranger for an evening that begins with a guided nature walk through the trails of Fontainebleau. As the sun sets, we’ll gather around the campfire to share stories inspired by the Native peoples and natural wonders of the region. From animal tricksters to legends of the land and waters, each evening will feature a selection of short tales that bring the park’s past and spirit to life. Enjoy the walk, the fire, the sounds of the night, and the timeless power of storytelling under the stars.
