Learn the ROOTS of bachata with us! We’re putting these workshops together to learn FUNdamental and advanced concepts and footwork for Dominican/Traditional bachata + understand the music with instruments being played live!
Here are all the details:
WHAT are the workshops?
- FUNdamentals: we will go over concepts like weight transfer, grounding, stepping properly, hip and shoulder movement, and basic steps for traditional bachata dance
- footwork: we will advance into more complicated variations of steps and syncopation
- musicality: we will learn the instruments that make bachata bachata and learn how to dance to them, find the rhythm, and understand how a bachata song works so we can adapt to it

Improver/intermediate
WHEN?
Workshops will be held on SATURDAY 6tTH DECEMBER. Times are as follows:
1-2 pm FUNdamentals of traditional bachata (partnerwork)
2-3 pm footwork (partnerwork)
3-4 pm musicality with instruments
4-5 pm social
WHERE?
The workshops will be held at TRINITY SPORTS CENTRE M15 6HP (free parking on site)
