Join us for a cozy, feel-good crochet gathering where your creativity can help keep our neighbors warm this season. In this special workshop, we’ll come together to make hats, scarves, mittens, and other cold-weather accessories to donate to community members experiencing difficult times.
You are invited to bring your own yarn in any weight or color you love, and crochet at your own pace. Patterns and step-by-step instructions will be provided for those who would like them, and you are always welcome to bring your own favorite patterns too. Extra hooks, basic tools, and plenty of encouragement will be available so you can focus on stitching and connecting with fellow makers.
At the end of the workshop, all finished items will be collected and delivered to Stitching Up the World, a volunteer group based in Candia, NH. Their primary mission is to make caps and lap blankets for patients undergoing chemotherapy at local cancer centers across New Hampshire, and they also support organizations such as Families in Transition, Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD), The Upper Room, Project Linus, as well as international efforts like Dress a Girl Around the World and Operation Smile.
This free event is open to crocheters of all experience levels who want to give back in a meaningful, hands-on way. Grab your favorite cozy beverage and come enjoy a warm, welcoming space, meet fellow crafters. Let's turn your stitches into comfort for someone in need!
Sign up to reserve your spot and help spread a little extra warmth and kindness this time of year.
