At the heart of the Buddha’s wisdom is a simple but profound insight: everything is connected, and nothing stands alone. When we begin to explore this truth, we start to see our lives in a new light. Stress, difficulty and unhelpful habits no longer feel fixed — they can change. And so can we. This shift of perspective opens the door to greater freedom, joy and confidence in how we live.
On this day retreat, we’ll dive into this transformative teaching through short talks, guided reflections, meditation, poetry, and friendly small group discussions. You don’t need to be an expert or even to have much meditation experience — just curiosity and a willingness to explore.
The day will be led by Sagaraghosa, who brings many years of experience leading courses at the Cambridge Buddhist Centre. She is also the author of Starting on the Buddhist Path, a beautifully clear introduction to Buddhism, full of illustrations and practical wisdom. Everyone who comes will receive a free copy of the book, and Sagaraghosha will be happy to sign your copy on the day.
Come along for a chance to pause, reflect, and discover how the Buddha’s teaching can touch and transform your own life.
