***** DIFFERENT VENUE - I dropped a clanger and didn't check availability of the arena - so just behind our normal venue is Heritag Park. We've used this in the past and its a nice change. There is no seating, bring chairs or blankets.

** it has been brought to my attention that there's quit a bit of 'sloppy' dipping practice around the prop dipping area.
We can minimise the amount of paraffin that ends up on the floor (at the bottom of the stairs) by spinning off props as far away as possible - the edges of the seating areas are best. If you have a huge prop that drips, let the excess fuel drip into a bucket.
Also we need to consider the fumes of smouldering props that are often left on the steps smoudering. Not everyone LOVES the smell of smouldering fire props,a. MMMMM smouldering!!
NEWBIES .......... Please come and find me to go through a few safety points, especially regarding paraffin safety and storing of your props.
